Effect of Shading on the Growth and Bloom of Lilium casa blanca

[Objective] To study the effect of shading on the growth and development of Lilium casa blanca,so as to provide theoretical references for its domestication and large-scale cultivation in Sichuan.[Method] With "Huangtianba" as the test materials,four gradient treatments of 60%,70%,80% and 90% shading were set up to study the effect of shading on the growth of Lilium casa blanca.[Result] With the increase of shading intensity,the plant grew taller,the leaf area became larger,but the stem was getting slightly thinner.Under 60% shading,both the budding period and bloom period of "Huangtianba" were three days in advance compared with that under other treatments,and the quantity of buds,the diameter of flowers and the length of petals were all better,and the flower color was brighter,the flowering period was one day longer.[Conclusion] 60% shading intensity was the best for the production of Lilium casa blanca in Sichuan.
