Research Progress of Biochar Stability and Effects on Soil Greenhouse Gas Emission

How to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sequestration is one of the hot spot of research to alleviate the current climate change.Biochar has emerged as a potential strategy for climate change mitigation.Based on the effectiveness of biochar as a carbon measures,the research progress of biochar characteristics and decomposition,its influence on soil greenhouse gas production were reviewed,so as to accurately evaluate carbon fixation and emission reduction of biochar.
