Estimating Vegetation Coverage of Nanjing Jiangbei District Based on the GF-1 Data

With Jiangbei District in Nanjing City as study area,using MFV4 multispectral remote sensing data with 16 m spatial resolution in GF-1 satellite and based on dimidiate pixel model,vegetation coverage in study area was estimated. The results showed that the GF-1 data can reflect the spatial distribution of surface vegetation effectively,the high vegetation coverage in Jiangbei District is good for ecological environment and green livable area constructing.
