Doomed tragedy:Psychoanalysis of Roderick Usher in Edgar Allan Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher

Employing Freud psychoanalytic personality theory, the paper, from the perspectives of living environment and three-level personality structure, thoroughly and deeply dissects the causes of Roderick Usher's insanity and reveals the inevitability of his tragedy and social significance of Edgar Allan Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher.
