The Adaptation to the Communicative Context in the Selection of Translation Strategies

The selection of translation strategies in the translation process should be adapted to the communicative contexts that both the translator and the intended target language readers are actually in.Here the communicative context refers to the mental world,social world and physical world.Therefore,in a sense,a translator's adaptation in the selection of translation strategy is made both actively and passively.
