Electrochemical Detection of 8-Hydroxy-2’-Deoxyguanosine Using Copper Oxide Nanocrystals/Cysteamine Film Modified Electrode

Copper oxide nanocrystals (nano-CuO) was prepared and was bound to cysteamine (CA) film that was covered glassy carbon electrode (GCE).The nano-CuO/CA/GCE was characterized with scanning electron microscopy,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The fabricated nano-CuO/CA/GCE sensor exhibited sensitive response to 8-OH-dG in 0.1 M PBS (pH 7.0).The anodic peak currents were linear with the 8-OH-dG concentration over the range of 0.40μM to 44.0μM with the correlation coefficient of 0.999,and the corresponding detection limits was 0.07μM (S/N=3).The nano-CuO/CA/GCE had good storage stability,reproducibility and anti-interference ability and could be applied to detect 8-OH-dG in samples.
