Vinorelbine plus Cisplatin Chemotheapy in the Treatment of Advanced Non-small cell Lung Cancer

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of vinorelbine plus cisplation on advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods 48 cases of stage ⅢB-Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer received vinorelbine 25mg/m2,d1,8 and cisplatin 20mg/m2,iv d1-5,combination chemotherapy.The cycle was 21 days.The effect was evaluated after 2 cycles.Results Partial response 20,stable of disease 20 and 8 progressed.Overall response rate was 44% and the median survival were 10 months.The main toxicities were myelosuppression,digestive tract reaction and phlebitis.Conclusion Author suggests that the combination of NVB and DDP in the treatment of advanced NSCLC have a high response rate and tolerable side effects and be worthy of widespread use.
