Correlative study of carotid arteriosclerosis of cerebral infarction in middle-aged and youth

Objective: To analyze the correlation of carotid arteriosclerosis and ischemic stroke in middle-aged and youth.Methods: 94 cases of hospitalized patients with ischemic stroke in middle-aged and youth carotid ultrasonography test conducted retrospectively.Results: The 94 cases of ischemic stroke patients, 59 cases were detected in carotid atherosclerotic plaque (62.8%), plaques occur in the carotid artery bifurcation, plaques and stroke there is correlation between ipsilateral.Conclusion: according to carotid atherosclerosis in middle-aged and youth to assess the nature of the prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke.
