Drug resistance of three common gram-negative bacteria in nosocomial infection analyse

AIM To investigate the drug resistance of Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella in nosocomial infection. METHODS To collect date of the 710 strains of bacteria separated from nosocomial infection cases, and make analyses on the drug resistance rate of the 3 common gram negative bacteria. RESULTS The rates of ampicillin resistant Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella were over 90%. Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa to amikacin showed susceptivity, as compare with gentamicin, the difference between them were significant( P 0 05). The rate of imipenem resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 32 26%, and to cefotaxime was 89 19%. CONCLUSIONS The three common species were higher drug resistance for most common antibiotics strengthened the supervision towards bacterium Gram negative and reasonable advice should be given.
