Research trend in hibiscus mutabilis L.

This paper reviewed the studies on chemical constitutes and pharmacology as well as clinical applications of hibiscus mutabilis L.The main ingredients of hisbiscus mutablis L. are flavones and steroids. It has a high efficiency of antiinflammation. And it can inhibit bacteria as well as protect kidney from injure by re-perfusion.Hisbiscus mutablis L. is a safety medicine with low toxicity and is widely used in clinical practice.
