Advances of the hyperin pharmacology research

Hyperin showed significant local analgesic effects in animal tests.The analgesic potency of Hyperin was worse than morphine,but better than aspirin and it is non-dependent.So it was a new type of local analgesic.Some studies showed that Hyperin had protective effects against myocardial ischemia,cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and cerebral infarction.According to the domestic and overseas literatures of recent years,in this paper,the latest progress of its pharmacology was reviewed.
