SANG Geng-sheng,FENG Yan-xian,SHI Shi-qiang,TANG Feng-ying,XIE Xia,ZHANG Jun (Department of Cardiology,The Third People's Hospital Bengbu Anhui 233000)
Aim To investigate the significance of HRV in patients with hypertension and the effects of ramipril on HRV.Methods In 28 hypertension patients who were given ramipril 2.5mg or 5mg and 25 healthy persons, the heart rate varabilities were recorded and analyzed now and after 4 months. Results The results showed that HRV in patients with hypertension were much lower than those in the normal control group, and that the HRV were significantly improved after 4 months of ramipril treatment. Conclusion Ramipril may improve the HRV validly and the function of autonomic neuropathy in patients with hypertension.
