Determination of rutin in the proplis tablets by HPLC

Aim To determine rutin in the proplis tablets by HPLC.Methods The octadecyl silicon hydride linkage silica gel column was used and methyl 0.4% phosphoric acid-methanol-acetonitrile(60∶45∶5) was used as mobile phase.The detective wavelength was at 256 nm and the speed of flow is 1.0 ml·min-1.Results The linear range for rutin is between 0.2603 μg and 1.5618 μg.Average recovery for rutin was 98.6% with RSD of 1.86%(n=5).Conclusion This method is proved to be simple,reliable and can be used for the effective quality control of proplis tablets.
