A case-control study on the relationship between dietary factors and gastric cancer

Aim To explore the relationship between gastric cancer and dietary factors.Methods Data of 112 new cases of gastric cancer and 112 normal controls were collected.Paired case-control study was used.Potential risk factors were analyzed by condition logistic analysis,with odds ratios(OR) and 95%CI calculated.Results Alcohol intake,mildewed rice,pickled food could increase the incidence of gastric cancer.Conclusion Some dietary factors may be involved in the mechanisms of gastric cancer.Measures should be taken to improve people's eating habits to decrease the incidence of gastric cancer.
