Objective: The current study was designed to explore the effect of combinative use of dendrobium candidum polysaccharide (DCP) and rIL 2 on killing activity of lymphokine activated killer cell (LAK) of umbilical cord blood (CB LAK) and peripharal blood of cancer patients (PB LAK) in vitro. Methods: The killing activity of CB LAK and PB LAK against Raji cells was determined by (3H) TdR release assay. Results: (1) The killing activity of CB LAK against tumor cells was markedly enhanced by IL 2 (500 u/ml). The killing rate of CB LAK was 13.63% in at 0 h and was increased to 22.28% , 22.63% ,28.54% and 25.76% after rIL 2 inducing for 48 h,72 h,96 h and 120 h respectively (P inducing for 96 h was 34.78% . But rIL 2 (500 u/ml) alone was only 23.24% (P
