The Effects of Mixed Culturing on the Growth and Nitrogen-Fixation of Nitrogen fixating Bacteria And Cellulolytic Organism

Pu Yitao Zhong Yihu Zhong Zongkun (Department of Chemistry Shenzhen University Shenzhen 518060 P.R.China)  
The colony counts and nitrogen contents in the fermenting liquor in the mixed Culture of the nitrogen fixating bacteria and cellulolytic organism were determined Comparing with pure culture of only one bacteria, it was found that one kind of bacteria was helpful and would stimulate the growth of the other. The colony counts and the ability of nitrogen fixation in the fermenting liquor would increase. The two kinds of bacteria could be used as mixed bacterial feed.
