DAPI Banded Karyotype of Ipomoea aquantica Forsk (I. reptans Poir)

The DAPI banded pattern of Ipomoea aquantica Forsk (I. reptans Poir) and the distribution of heterochromatin were investigated by a new DAPI banding technique. And a G-like DAPI banded idiogram was established to improve the cytogenetic research, breeding and exploiting the resources of Ipomoea aquantica.
