Content and Retranslocation of Nutrient in Needlelike Leaves of Pinus. Massoniana at Different Elevations

ZHUANG Ya-zhen(State-owned Forest Farm of Nanjing in Fujian province,Nanjing Fujian 363600)  
Pinus.Massoniana at different elevations on state-owned forest farm of Nanjing in Fujian was studied,the relationship between elevation and nutrient retranslocation in leaves of which was discussed in the paper.The results showed that : ①N content in the mature needlelike leaves of Pinus.Massoniana on woodland at 0 m and 100 m above sea level was significantly higher than that at elevations of 200 m and 300 m,the change of P content was similar to N content;N/P in leaves decreased with elevation raising,thus,there were all P limited in site condition.②N content in aging needlelike leaves of Pinus.Massoniana when at an elevation of 200 m was the lowest,while at 0 m above sea level that was the highest,N content decreased firstly and incressed later as elevation increased;P content in aging needlelike leaves at 100 m above sea level was the highest,but lowest at an elevation of 300 m.③Retranslocation efficiency of N in leaves of Pinus.Massoniana at high elevations was significantly higher than that at low elevations,and which appeared a maximum at an elevation of 200 m;the chang rule of retranslocation efficiency of P was similar to N with the variation of elevation,but readsorption efficiency of P was higher than that of N on woodland of all elevations.
