Influence of Drought Resistance Physiology Index on Cotton under Different Water Treatments

The effects of different water treatments on variantions of physiological indices of cotton were carried out in pot-test.Results showed that leaf water saturated deficiency trended to increase,leaf water conservation and leaf potential trended to decrease along with the decrease of soil water content,it meant roots of cotton supplied lower water and nourishment in the condition of water deficiency and the cotton physiology descended.The relation of leaf potential and water moisture showed quadric multinomial,and correlation coefficients exceeded 0.8,total biomass and the rate of root and overground were determined at the same time.To achieve water-saving purpose,soil water content was 60% field content as the lowest value of water saving irrigation in the whole bearing time.
