Screening of Rice Germplasm with High Photosynthetic Efficiency

12 rice varieties were used as materials to screen out the rice germplasm with the high photosynthetic efficiency,the physiological and biochemical indexes of rice,including chlorophyll content,soluble protein content,photosynthetic rate and function duration were measured.The results showed that there were significant differences in soluble protein content,photosynthetic rate and function duration among different varieties of rice.Soluble protein content,photosynthetic rate and function duration of Wuyujing 1,Yangyujing 1 and Yangjing 4227 were significantly higher than those of other varieties.Moreover,chlorophyll content in Wuyujing 1 and Yangyujing 1 were also higher than that of other varieties.These results indicated that Wuyujing 1,Yangyujing 1 and Yangjing 4227 were superior rice varieties with high photosynthetic efficiency.
