Research Advance on Scleroderma guani to Control Monochamus alternates

Research advance on application of Scleroderma guani Xiao et Wu and research status of controlling Monochamus alternates by this parasitoid were summarized.Some contents what need to be further researched,such as the physiological mechanisms of ′keep host fresh′caused by venom of S.guani,the effect of venom on host organs and the component analysis of venom were discussed,which could provide a theoretical basis for thorough research,and offer a new approach for the biological control of pest,and provide the reference for the further research of improve the control efficiency on S.guani.
