Degradation Patterns of Different Peptides in the Culture by Rumen Microorganisms

The degradation patterns of different peptides in the culture by rumen microorganisms were studied.The results showed that the amount of peptide degradation was increased significantly (P0.01 or P0.05) with the incubation time extended,but the rates of peptide degradation were decreased significantly (P0.01). When peptide concentration was increased in the incubation , the amount of peptide degradation and rates of peptide degradation were increased significantly (P0.01 or P0.05),but the proportion of peptide degradation was decreased significantly (P0.05).The amount,proportion and rates of rumen peptide degradation were higher than those of soybean protein peptide (P0.05) and corn protein peptide (P0.01).The results suggested that the rate of peptide degradation might be different with different proteins.
