Development of test platform for automated guided vehicle

Automated guided vehicle(AGV) platform is the basis of studying AGV.Automatic guidance is one of the important technologies for AGV platform.For studying the AGV platform and its automatic guidance control,an intelligent test platform for AGV is developed using the technology of computer,sensor and data communication.Two electric motors are used to drive the intelligent test platform by means of speed reducing mechanism and control unit.The navigation control system is developed based on the intelligent platform,and some control methods and principle of vision navigation are introduced.Test results indicate that the platform can move on the fixed line,turn around and stop automatically.
