Effects of environmental stress on lysozyme and superoxide dismutase of Corbicula fluminea-(Müller)

Under laboratory condition,We determine the Lysozyme(LSZ)and Superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity in different stress of temperature,dissolved oxygen and density.The results indicated that survival rate of Corbicula fluminea-(Müller) in 36℃ group was significantly lower than that of the other 4 groups(13,20,25,30℃)(P0.01);with the increasing of stress time,survival rate of Corbicula fluminea-(Müller) in dissolved oxygen and density stress group decreased gradually,the decreasing rate was the highest in the low dissolved oxygen group and high density group.The LSZ activity enhanced with the temperature rising,and the similar trend can be found in the SOD activity.The effect of dissolved oxygen on LSZ and SOD activity raised at first and then decreased.The highest activity of LSZ of high dissolved oxygen group occurred in the 7th day,the lowest point was in the control group,while the highest SOD activity was in the low dissolved oxygen group.After that,the SOD activity significantly decreased in the low dissolved oxygen group and the lowest point showed in the 21th day.However,the similar trend was not showed in the control group.There was an increasing trend during the first 7 days of the LSZ and SOD activity by density stress.It reached the peak in the 7th day then decreased rapidly,and significantly decreased in the 21th day compared with the other two groups.The similar trend was found in the middle density group and low dissolved oxygen group,but its decrease range was less than the former.The results of the study suggested that the LSZ and SOD activity level in Corbicula fluminea-(Müller) are positive correlation in the short phrase of stress and negative correlation in the long time.
