Measurement of active ingredient of Macleya cordata and its bioactivity against insects

One kind of active ingredient was isolated from extraction of root of Macleya cordata by methods of dip and silica gel column,and its molecular structure was definitely identified to be allocryptopine by spectra such as IR,NMR and MS.The results showed that allocryptopine possessed strong poisonous activity against insects such as Pieris rapae,Tribolium castaeum and Culex auianguefasciatus.When its concentration was 0.05 mg·mL-1,the mortality of allocryptopine against the 3th instar larvae of Culex auianguefasciatus was 70.00%,73.33%,80.00% and 86.67% within 12,24,48 and 72 h after treatment respectively;When the concentration of allocryptopine was 0.5 mg·mL-1,the antifeedant rate of non-choice of it against 5th instar larvae of Pieris rapae was 84.03% and 89.76% within 24 h and 48 h after treatment respectively;When its concentration was 0.5 mg·mL-1,the repel rate of allocryptopine against adult of Tribolium castaeum was 56.67%,70.00%,76.67% and 83.33% within 12,24,48 and 72 h after treatment,respectively.
