Prediction of the Interception of Individual Rainfall in a Chinese Pine Forest by Using Gash Model

Zhang Xinxian He Qingtang (Gardens Institute of Beijing,Beijing 100015)  
The interception of individual rainfall is estimated by Gash model in a Chinese Pine forest in Taiyue Mountains,Shanxi Province.Agreement between the calculated and the observed values of interception is fair when the amount of gross rainfall is more than 10mm.It is also advised that not to use the model for rainfall of less than 10mm because the error becomes large.Finally,the error in the model prediction is generally analyzed.
