The Isoflavone Biosynthesis from Tissues Cultures of Pueraria lobata

 Wan Ping Wan Xiaochun Yang Xiaochun Lu Cuizheng Ji Yaoqing (Biotechnology Research Centre,Anhui Agricultural University,Hefei 230036)  
Callus was induced from stem and seedling of Pueraria lobata.Secondary metabolite of the callus was extracted with ethyl alcohol,the content of metabolite was by ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometer.The isoflavonoids systhesis was observed in callus.The total amount of isoflavonoids is 2 0% to 3 0% of the cell dry weight.The amount of isoflavonoids increase with the culture stage.
