Study on Photocatalytic Oxidation of Six Dyes by Zinc Sulfide

Wang Wenbao Yue Yongde Hua Rimao (Anhui Agricultural University,Hefei 230036)  
Photocatalytic oxidation of six dyes by zinc sulfide was studied.Decolorizing effects of six dyes solution were increased 11~100 folds by zinc sulfide,respectively.The reaction of photocatalytic oxidation is first order reaction in kinetics.
