An Improved RSSI 3D Localization Algorithm Based on Beacon Node

Node localization is one of the important supporting technologies of WSN. Now there are mainly two localization algorithms—based on distance localization algorithm and non- distance- based localization algorithm. Taking into account of the strengths and weaknesses of the algorithm present correction algorithm based on distance localization algorithm and the beacon nodes are preferable in 3D space. Finally the unknown node is located by the least squares method. Simulation results show that the algorithm has higher accuracy than the traditional RSSI algorithm.
