Application of grey relevancy model based on ameliorated entropy for comprehensive evaluation of wetland environment quality

This paper is focused on the study how to apply gray relevancy model based on ameliorated entropy to comprehensive evaluation of wetland environmental quality. First of all,it has introduced the concept of the gray relevancy model,including listing the analysis sequences,the ways to construct the decision-making matrix of gray relevancy,calculating the maximal and minimal differences,calculating the relevance coefficients,etc. On top of that,we have put forward the drawbacks of the entropy-method and thereby illustrated the improved methods of ours for calculating the related coefficients. Then,we have made necessary explanations to the degree of relevancy and the meanings of its calculation. And,finally,with the survey data of Zhalong national natural reserve,Heilongjiang,as a case study,we have provided a comprehensive evaluation of the water quality in the reserve based on the construction of the decision-making matrix of gray relevancy by using the improved entropy-method for calculating the weight coefficient and calculating the gray relevancy of each sample to confirm its scale. Compared with the results of former investigation statistics and other related data,we have arrived at the conclusion that the ameliorated method suggested by us proves reasonable. Thus it can be said that the gray relevancy model based on ameliorated entropy can be expected to provide the workers and departments concerned with a new available means of comprehensive evaluation of wetland water quality. Moreover,since the wetland is one of the natural ecosystems and enjoys abundant biodiversity,it is of great importance for its eco-environmental protection functions as well as ecological values on the whole. However,it is necessary to come to mind that while evaluating water quality comprehensively,each target should be taken independently rather than amalgamating each other improperly. If so,it would be unavoidable to lead to missing some significant information,even leading to some kind incorrect results if evaluation were done with any single target directly.
