Dustfall changing regularity and developing trend in Wusong Industrial Zone in recent years

Based on the data obtained from many years' monitoring and observation,the paper has analyzed the amount of dustfall in the three typical function zones. Similarly,it has also established a variance analysis and rank correlation coefficient method for discussing the pollution features. The results of our study indicate that the dust disposal rates of annual average in the industrial zone,the mixed industrial and residential zone and contrast zone included,is about 18 t/(km2·month),11 t/(km2·month),7 t/(km2·month),respectively,with the industrial zone being significantly higher than in the other two with their dustfall amount,which indicates that the local dustfall source far exceeds that of the regional background. Secondly,monthly distribution characteristics in the three zones also reveal different features with the dust depositing rates with the contrast zone being higher in the season of spring and summer while lower in winter and autumn for the climatic and/or seasonal reasons,with the peak value volume appearing in April and July,and bottom valley appearing in June and October. Moreover,as to the dust depositing rates of the other two zones,spring and winter are the most serious seasons with the amount of the dustfall tending to increase from January to May. Thirdly,the amount of dust depositing rates tends to drop down remarkably in the industrial area in the recent decade.
