An investigation of the emergency management information system for the fossil-fuel power plants

The present paper is aimed at providing its authors' un- derstanding and analysis of the particular demands for the emergency management information system for the fossil-fuel power plants so that they are capable to deal with the unexpected accidents or urgent needs.To the knowledge of the authors,such a system should be en- dowed with the following three functions,that is,the capability to give timely or real-time response to any unexpected accidents,the extremely high working efficiency and highly efficient predictability for unexpected events.Then,the paper's attention turns to the analysis of the likely-to-be-optimal general design framework for such an e- mergency management information system from the point of view of technical layout framework,the intranet system design,its database framework and the safety of the given emergency management infor- mation system.The next part of our analysis comes to the business block divisions of the given management system and their respective functions.Last of all,a brief discussion has been made on the ap- preach to actualization of the system as well as its main aspects of the designing work.Further discussions involve the means for identifica- tion of the serious sources likely to lead to accidents,hazard assess- ments,effective organization of simulated accident maneuver in a 3D simulated environment in hoping to heighten the emergency manage- ment level.We also believe that it is of realistic importance to do high-quality logic analysis over the simulated environment so as to be able to give timely and efficient technical support in facing the unex- pected disasters or accidents.
