Choosing the best scheme of safety management system based on AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method

With the aim of choosing the best safety management system, this work has constructed an evaluation index system applied in safety management system for the first time. This index system contains 13 second indexes which including temporary and long-term, fix and non-fix quantified influencing factors working on the safety management system. AHP (analytical hierarchy process) and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method have been briefly introduced. Firstly, the weight matrix of the influencing factors was established according to the AHP method. The influencing factor indexes were then transformed into the matrix of membership degrees. Duality element relative comparison method was adopted to assure the relative weight between two non- quantitative elements. Based on the weight matrix and the matrix of membership degrees, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established. By using MATLAB 7.1 for all calculation steps, the synthetic superior degrees of the safety management system were acquired based on the influencing factors. In the end, the primary analysis progress and results were introduced in an organization for validation. The synthetic superior degrees of the safety management system for the organization were 90.66%, 53.42% and 84.29% respectively showing that the first system appeared to be the best. The study has exhibited that the model is feasible, reliable and it has a high value of practical application.
