Preparation and Photoelectrocatalysis Property of Iron Doped Ultrafine Titania by the Ethanolato-titanium

Iron doped ultrafine titania was prepared by sol-gel method.The optical absorbance of iron doped ultrafine titania in UV and visible region was determined at room temperature.The optical absorbance of iron doped ultrafine titania after doping irons increased considerably and a red shift of the band-gap took place.By TEM and XRD,it has been shown that ultrafine TiO2 particles are well-distributed and its diameter ranges from 10 to 20nm..
