An Artificial Neural Network for Prediction of Mechanical Properties of Heavy Plates Hot Rolled

JING Yu_an,HU Lin,ZHANG Yu_hua (School of Material Science and Engineering,Anshan Institute of I.& S.Technology,Anshan 114002,China)  
An artificial neural network(ANN) of predicting mechanical properties is presented,and the predicted values are compared with measured data.On the basis of above work,process parameters are optimized by using the ANN.The results show that the ANN can not only predict mechanical properties but also optimize process parameters in hot rolling.
