Preparation of copper nanoparticles using liquid phase precipitation method

WEN Chuan-geng , WANG Kai-ming, LI Xiao-qi, GAO Shou-shan , HUAN Wei-liang, ZHAO Ying ( Research Centre of Nanoparticles, Anshan University oi Science and Technology, Anshan 114044, China)  
Writers prepared copper nanoparticles using formaldehyde as reducing agent with liquid phase precipitation method. TEM and XRD showed that the morphological structure of the nanoparticles is ball, the average diameter is about 30 nm, the distribution of the particle diameter is narrow and the space distribution is uniform, there is no hard agglomeraton. The copper powder is simple substance in cubic system. The antioxidancy of the powder increases after the surface is passivated, therefore, the powder can be preserved in air.
