Simulation and experimental research of continuous casting billetrolling with a liquid core

In this paper,the process of billet rolling with a liquid core was analyze by numerical simulation and experiment.The deformation characteristics and stress strain changing of this rolling were indicated.Furthermore,the influence of the rate of a liquid core on energy consumption in rolling process,stress,strain and deformation were also discussed.As the liquid core rate increases,concave deformations increased on the top and bottom surface of a rolled metal;in the meantime,there is a single bulge on its two sides.Because of the instatic role,the corner part of a rolled metal will rotate,added with deformation,and result in higher stress on its side surface.It shows this stress first decreases,and then increases.
