Analysis of ruggedness rigidity and vibration for 2150 hot tandem mill frame

Aimed at the vibration problem which occurs in the third frame of the 2150 hot tandem mill in the rolling process,the computation to the ruggedness and the rigidity of the frame was carried on,then the computation formula of the primary natural frequency of the frame was deduced,which has an important meaning to the rapid calculation of the frame natural frequency;the computation result is 10.978 Hz.And the dynamics characteristic of the frame was analyzed by using FEM.The computation results indicate that the natural frequencies obtained from two methods are very anastomotic,which has provided reference for the rolling mill frame.
