Study on production of thick flat steel for Cr12 series of cold working die steel

SUN Guang-li,GONG Shi-chuang(Dongbei Specail Steel Group Dalian Specail Steel LLC,Dalian 116031,China)  
In order to satisfy the requirements of Cr12 series of thick flat steel in the market and fill the blank of production of Cr12 series of thick flat steel,the typical thick flat steel in Cr12 series of cold working die steel is produced,and the rolling process is researched and analyzed,the rolling charateristics and process of 95~130 mm chick flat steel are summarized,the heating system,blank size and pressing procedure of Cr12 series of thick flat steel are determined.Th results indicate that:this process is feasible,the size,shape of production and the carbide forms satisfy the requirements of standard specifications,which is a reasonable process of guiding significance for thick flat steel production.
