Study on Growth Amount and Soil Fertility of E.grandis×E.urophylla Mixed Forest

Growth amount and soil fertility of different mixed forest had been studied in south subtropical region,including E.grandis×E.urophylla mixed Cunninghamia lanceolata,Dalbergia obtusifolia and Acacia crassicarpa etc.The results showed that:compared to superior tree species of pure forest,the mixed forest could increase woodland productivity and improve soil.The bulk density of soil in all mixed forest was less than the pure E.grandis×E.urophylla forest,but the content of mineral nutrient such as organic matter substance,total nitrogen,total phosphorus,rapidly available phosphorus and rapidly available potassium was more than the pure E.grandis×E.urophylla forest.The sequence on the ability of soil improvement was E.grandis×E.urophylla-Dalbergia obtusifolia mixed forest E.grandis×E.urophylla-Acacia crassicarpa mixed forest E.grandis×E.urophylla - Cunninghamia lanceolata mixed forest respectively.As a result,to build properly mixed forest was one of effective measures to manage eucalyptus plantation scientifically.
