Analysis on Fatty Acids in Sea Cucumbers by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

The fatty acids of sea cucumbers is extracted by Bligh-Dyer method,and is analyzed by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry.The result shows that 19 fatty acids and 9 unsaturated fatty acids are identified,and the contents of them make up 71.24% of the identified fatty acids of sea cucumbers.The percentages of eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) are 9.46% and 11.77% respectively,and 15-Tetracosenoic acid(NA) is identified in salmon oil and the percentages of it is 4.14%.
