Whole-Language-Teaching-Based English Teaching of Strategic Text Reading in Colleges

This paper gives a brief account of the concept,the characteristics and the principles of Whole Language Teaching Approach.Based on this theory,the paper tries to present four readingteaching strategies such as strategies of text-structure-analysis,logical-connector-recognition,cultural-background-knowledge and different text-reading strategies.
