Qianmu and Yu Yingshi's View of Confucianism——on the connection between Qianmu,YuYingshi and Modern New Confucianists

LI Ru-tao(City College of Zhejiang University,Hangzhou 310015,China)
Qianmu and Yu Yingshi discussed the congfucianism in a historical view. They not only canonized the moral law in Song-Ming Dynasties, but also sang high praise for the spirit of "Daowenxue".Furthermore, they believed there was academic relation between Song-Ming Dynasties and Qing Dynasty. On the contrary,Modern new confucianists only thought highly of the moral law in Song-Ming Dynasties. But during the course of confucianism's revival and the modern turnaround of traditional culture, the both sides sympathized each other deeply. Therefore,Qianmu,Yu Yingshi and Modern new confucianists should be considered as new confucianists of the trend of Confucianism in the 20th century, though they both alleged that their Confucianism views were not the same.
