Application of microsurgery in the treatment of glioma and the effect on AVP,OT,β-EP,and TNF-α level in cerebrospinal fluid

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of microsurgery in the treatment of glioma and the effect on arginine vasopressin(AVP) and oxytocin(OT),β-endorphin(β-EP),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) levels in cerebrospinal fluid.Method 86 cases of glioma were included in the analysis,and were randomized as study group and control group,with 43 cases in each,and the control group was given traditional surgery,while the study group was administered with microsurgery,the operative time,hospital stay,and AVP,OT,β-EP,TNF-α expression levels,as well as incidence of complications in the two groups were compared.Result The study group had significantly shorter operative time and hospital stay than the control group,with statistically significant difference observed(P0.05);After surgery,the levels of AVP,OT,β-EP and TNF-α in the two groups were decreased compared with that before treatment,and the levels of AVP,OT and β-EP were higher,while TNF-α was lower in the study group than those in the control group(P0.05);Furthermore,the incidence of complications was lower in study group compared with control group(P0.05).Conclusion The microsurgery is definitely applicable in the treatment of glioma,and may promote the recovery of AVP,OT,β-EP,and TNF-α in cerebrospinal fluid.
