Wu Junying ,Xu Zhengshan ,Lin Sigao,Jiang Guicheng,Xu Xia(Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, Bengbu Medical College,Anhui)
The interleukin-2(IL-2) activities of peripheral mononuclear cells and serum solubleinterleukin-2 receptor(SIL-2R) levels in 32 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)were determined. The results showed that in patients with SLE,the IL-2 activities were decreasedand serum SIL-2R levels increased compared with normal controls(P0.01).In patients withactive period of SLE, the IL-2 activities were decreased and serum SIL-2R levels increased com-pared with silent period ( P0. 01).Our results may contribute to the study of the immunore-gulation of SLE and provide a surveillance for the actlvity of the disease.
