Study on the Reasonable Construction Method for a Loess Double-arch Highway Tunnel

Based on the comprehensive testing system for structure and surrounding rockmass of highway tunnel(CTSSSRH),taking Nanguan Tunnel as an example,a test concerning the dynamic construction procedure of Double-arch tunnel of excavation is carried out through physical modeling.The results of Physical model testing show that the deformation of surrounding rockmass of tunnel varies with increase of the cave size.
