Mechanical Analysis on Construction of Shallow Tunnel Crossing Piles of Building

Excavation of shallow tunnel will influence surrounding environment seriously and should be treated strictly. By adopting FEM software with Drucker-Prager yield criteria and based on one shallow tunnel crossing the piled foundation of a building, research on the deformation and mechanical features of structures because of cutting piles during construction was carried out. According to calculation results in one typical section, the deformation procedures and mechanical features at key parts are analyzed, which can provide useful references for tunnel construction and rational excavation steps.
