FEM Analysis of Rock Stability on Super Section Tunnel

Based on theory of structure design and guide line of Drucker-Prager for rock. taking into account of its capability bearing the weight of surrounding rock, the Guangxi Liuzhou City road tunnel has been analysed to simulate the surrounding rock by FEM analysis. Considering the effect of the excavated means and the excavated order to the stability of the surrounding rock, the process of excavation of the surrounding rock is simulated.Making certain surrounding rock of tunnel bit shift, stress condition on the different excavation means, and the alternation regular pattern with bit shift and stress adapts to time. It offered a foundation for excavation scheme formulation and selection supporting time in the process of building the tunnel.
