3-D Analysis Method of Retaining Structure of Deep Excavation Based on "M" Method

Combine with a practical project,this paper puts forwad a three-dimensional simplified analysis method which takes account of the interaction between soil, surpporting structure and retaining wall to analyse the retaining structure of deep excavation.Based on the fundamental computational theory of "m" method, the spring element is assumed to simulate the soil inside the excavation, soil and water pressure represents the action of soil outside the excavation to build a 3-D FEM model to analyse the internal force and deformation of retaining structure. This method is applied to analyse the surpporting structure of deep excavation of north square of Shanghai South Railway Station,the results of calculation and the value of measurement are in good agreement, and the whole loading characteristics of structure could be learnt.
