Influence Analysis of Deep-dip Excavation on Down Tunnel Based on the Measured Displacement

Based on measured settlement in the Dongfang Road Underpass Project, some genenral laws and time-space effects laws of tunnel longitudinal deformation, which is resulted from the above deep excavation, were obtained. The empirical formula, taking time-space effect into account, is derived to calculate the tunnel's upheaval, and the formula, S=A_1*e~(A~2/B), can be used simply to calculate the max upheaval of the tunnel.
